After breakfast, head to the quiet city, Ella. En route setting off on a safari in Udawalawe. Then arrive at your hotel in Ella,  one of the most attractive locations in Sri Lanka for travellers. Admire the picturesque view of Ella surrounded by valleys, mountains, and tea plantations. Explore the ‘Little Adams Peak’, ‘Nine Arch Bridge’, and other places of interest.

Today is the most remarkable day of your holiday in Sri Lanka. Your chauffeur will drop you at Ella railway station on time to board the train and will show you the reserved seats. The scenic beauty of the villages, vegetable cultivations, waterfalls, mountainside getaways blanketed in lush greenery, paddy fields on terraces, and many more will blow your mind!

It is an enthralling journey by train where you will finally arrive at Kandy station. Thereafter, continue towards your hotel.

Your third-night stay is in a hotel in the world heritage Kandy city.

You will leave for Trincomalee, and on the way, you will be visiting the Cave temple in Dambulla and Lion Rock in Sigiriya.

Cave Temple, Dambulla: This ancient temple has a great history that goes back to the 03^rd Century BC. It’s also known as the “Golden Temple” and is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. According to recorded history, it gave shelter and protection to a Sri Lankan king in the 1^st century B.C. who was defeated by invaders. After regaining his throne in Anuradhapura, the king converted these caves into a temple. This famous temple is divided into five caverns that house 153 exquisite Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan monarchs, and four Hindu deities.

Lion Rock, Sigiriya: This famous rock fortress is known as “Lion Rock” and it’s another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is one of the most important landmarks in Sri Lanka. You will be able to enjoy the stunning beauty of the surrounding from the top of the fortress. The elegant frescoes and well-advanced water gardens with fountains etc. are amazing attractions that you shouldn’t miss out on at Lion Rock.

Leave for Trincomalee, and arrive at the hotel for your beach stay. You are free for total relaxation.
