On your second day in Sri Lanka, after a peaceful breakfast, start the day at the Temples of the Tooth Relic to participate in the morning Pooja ceremony. Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic is placed and preserved in this historical temple.

Thereafter, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. This was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and then expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides a great variety of trees, plants, and flowers.

The afternoon is free for your relaxation in the hotel or else you can do a shopping & sightseeing tour in the city. Later in the evening, witness a “Cultural Dance Show” organized by Kandyan dancers.

Your second day will be ending at the hotel after filling the day with colourful events and activities.

Overnight stay is in a hotel in Kandy.

After breakfast, leave Kandy and head to the mountain region of Sri Lanka. On your way to Nuwara Eliya, you will get to enjoy the stunning scenic beauty of waterfalls, and salubrious tea plantations. Before arriving at your hotel, you will be visiting a tea plantation and a tea factory in Labookellie to learn the entire process of Çeylon tea from a young leaf of a tea bush to a steaming cup of Ceylon tea. After a guided tour of the Tea factory, you will be offered a factory-fresh cup of “Ceylon Tea”.

Upon arrival at your hotel in Nuwaraeliya (known as Litte England), you will have free time to explore the charming city and its attractions situated up on the mountain.

Afterwards, in the evening enjoy your hotel and its lovely atmosphere.

Overnight stay is in a hotel in Nuwara-Eliya.

After breakfast, leave Nuwaraeliya to indulge in another colourful day on this diverse island packed with natural beauty. Before arriving at your beach hotel, you will be en route visiting many places of interest such as tea plantations, and magnificent waterfalls namely, “St. Clair’s” & “Devon”. On the way, you can stop for a short break whilst having a delicious cup of tea.

Afterwards, continue towards the beach through many rubber plantations and the village where the famous film named “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed.

Depending on the departure flight time, you can arrange the day’s program. If the flight schedule is in the evening or night, you’ll be able to do the following that morning:

• Visit a sea turtle hatchery to see the entire process of their life from an egg to a baby
• Do an interesting river safari through mangroves, flora & fauna
• Visiting moonstone mines in the region

Later in the afternoon, proceed to Colombo to do a rapid sightseeing tour in the capital and then head to the airport to take the connecting flight on time.
