At the airport, you will be greeted by the AaryanCARS chauffeur guide who will be with you during the whole stay. He will take you to the hotel in Negombo where you will be free for relaxation.
Negombo’s white sandy beach would be an ideal place to relax.
In the afternoon, you can explore attractions in the proximity – the fishing port and village, market, churches and chapels are a few to mention.

After breakfast, leave for Wilpattu. Before departing Negombo, have a glance at the Negombo fishing village which is a very active place in the morning hours.
Continue towards Wilpattu, via Chilaw and Puttalam along the northwest coastline. En route, you will stop at some colourful Hindu temples.
Arrive in Wilpattu and get ready for the safari drive. You can enjoy a Sri Lankan rice & curry picnic lunch in the natural environment. Wilpattu National Park is blessed with several charismatic animal species, of which the leopard takes pride in the place. This is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka with more than 100 natural lakes.
After a thrilling safari, continue towards your hotel in Anuradhapura.

After breakfast, commence your archaeological site visit in Anuradhapura. Visit Sri Lanka’s biggest manmade pagodas – Ruwanweliseya, Jetawanaramaya & Abayagiriya as well as the sacred Bo Tree, the oldest human-planted tree in the world according to recorded history.
Leave for Sigiriya, and on your way, admire the typical attractions in the region.
Relax for some time in your hotel and in the evening, start climbing up Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the architectural marvel of how a fortress was carved from a massive rock in the 5th century A.D., its manmade water gardens and famous frescoes with heavenly damsels. The sunset from the top will be a very spectacular scene on clear days.

After breakfast, leave for Polonnaruwa and learn about the better-kept ruins of ancient Ceylon, the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa. Admire the magnificent statues of Buddha carved out of one block of granite.
On your way back, you can stop at a wood carving centre to see typical artists engage in making wood carvings manually.
The next stop is at a village house to eyewitness the preparation of different Sri Lankan dishes and culinary methods in villages. They will offer you a mouthwatering lunch and thereafter, return to your hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, leave for Dambulla to visit historical caves filled with Buddha statues and colourful traditional paintings.
The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. The caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters.
Continue towards Kandy via Matale, the famous spice region. You can stop at one of the spice gardens and learn about the spices being used for traditional culinary purposes and as medicines in Sri Lanka.
Arrive in Kandy. You will be visiting the historical Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter, witness a cultural dance performance in a Kandyan cultural centre.
Your fifth-night stay is in the historical city of Kandy.

After breakfast, visit Kandy, the picturesque hill city. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture, sense of rich history, heritage, and unique traditions in this UNESCO World Heritage City.
Thereafter, visit the Royal Botanical Garden. This Garden offers a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The well-tended greenery with lovely blooms makes the space a welcoming place for you to relax.
Drive towards the upcountry tea region where you will walk through villages, interacting with locals in the vicinity. Enjoy local rice & curry lunch before heading to Nuwara Eliya.
Stop at a tea factory on a higher elevation to learn the entire process of Ceylon Tea.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, a city up on the mountain region, known as ‘Little England’. In the afternoon, you are free to explore the city and its attractions.
Your night stay is in Nuwaraeliya.
After breakfast leave for the airport.
On the way, you will stop at many places to capture memorable photos of the scenic beauty of hill country. St. Clair’s & Devon waterfalls will be some of the unforgettable attractions. You can have a tea break in a lovely environment beside the river where the famous film named “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed.
Head to the Colombo airport via many rubber plantations and villages in the wet zone.
You can make a quick sightseeing tour in Colombo depending on the flight schedule and then leave for the airport to get the departure flight.
At the end of the tour, you can have a beach extension to relax on one of the splendid beaches in Sri Lanka.
