Enjoy the views of rolling green fields of tea as you take part in this scenic train journey from Kandy train station to Nanu Oya train station. After spending three days on Arugambay’s sandy beach, you will arrive in the heritage city, Galle to spend your final night of the tour. Galle is a very charming location in the southern region. En route stop at Udawalawe National Park for a safari drive. This Park covers an area of 30,821 hectares. It also includes a large reservoir and the Udawalawe Tank. The park is home to 500-700 elephants apart from the others occupants such as the endemic Toque Macaque, and numerous species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

After an exciting day, check in to the hotel for your night’s stay.

Morning at leisure (depends on the flight). You can enjoy your breakfast in the hotel.

You can either relax or do the following visits/activities depending on your interest:

• Visit a sea turtle hatchery to see entire the process of their life from an egg to a hatchling
• River safari through mangroves
• Visit moonstone mines in the region
• Mask museum to see a collection of traditional Sri Lankan masks.

You may vacate the hotel room by noon.

In the afternoon, leave your beach hotel and head to Colombo for a quick sightseeing and last-minute shopping in the capital (depending on the flight time). Then proceed to the airport to take the departure flight.
